Good Friday Service

3:00-4:00pm, March 29, 2024

On this day, the church commemorates Jesus' arrest, his trial, crucifixion and suffering, death, and burial. Since services on this day are to observe Jesus' death, and since Eucharist is a celebration, there is traditionally no Communion observed on Good Friday. This service starts and ends in silence without procession or recession as it is a continuation of Maundy Thursday's service which does not conclude until the Easter Vigil.

We acknowledge that Jesus, the Lord of all, has called His Church to be a Church of all nations. With joy and in humility we gather on Treaty 4 Territory, the traditional lands of the Cree, Ojibwe, Saulteaux, Dakota, Lakota, Nakoda, and the homeland of the Métis Nation.
