OCTOBER 18 - Thank you for Fr. Cal
It's with deep gratitude to Fr. Cal, that we will celebrate his ministry with us over the last (almost) three years during our time of transition between incumbents.
How you can participate:
- Service - Holy Eucharist and Blessing of Fr. Cal (Oct 18)
- Meal and short program after the service
- Cash gift (non-receiptable) to help Fr. Cal buy some sound equipment to get back into enjoying music on vinyl - gifts can be given to Joel, Carla, Arleen, and Michelle by Oct 11.
- Gratitude Book (all are invited to submit - children and adults)
Contribute to a gratitude collection that will be compiled into a physical book.
- Theme: Gratitude. (Narrower: how did Fr. Cal's ministry help you receive?)
- Examples of ways to contribute:
- A thank you note
- A story - about Fr. Cal or his impact on you or your children
- A story you think Fr. Cal would enjoy
- Poetry - your own or something you want to share with him
- Artwork - drawing, painting, or anything that can be done on a page or tucked into a pocket within a book
- Size: up to 8.5x11 or can be folded into a pocket
- Deadline: October 4 (earlier will help Carla and others who are creating the book)
- Submit to: Carla, Joel, Michelle, Deacon Arleen
Fr. Cal loves beauty, tactile experiences, and words. Please contribute in whatever small or large way you are able. We want him to know we love him and are grateful for him!
